About me
Welcome to Kiwi Footsteps; Kia Ora, Hola, Bonjour, Kon’nichiwa, Oi, Ciao Marhaba (مرØبا) and all of the other incredible greetings around the world. I am excited to take you on a journey through the footsteps of a kiwi traveller discovering this amazing world one day at a time. I created this website with the intention of sharing my personal adventures and to inspire others to embark on their own remarkable journeys through here.

I’m sure you can guess the true origin of my roots by the name of my website. However, for those who are unfamiliar with the enchanting country known as the land of the long white cloud, allow me to extend a warm welcome to New Zealand. This country will forever be my home regardless of my location in this extraordinary world. But in order to truly live your best life, one must seize opportunities and adventures.

I am now located in London, United Kingdom. I have been lucky enough to live here for almost 5 years and it has provided me with a lot of opportunities to travel and see this incredible world.

I make it a point to live each day as if it were my last. The reason behind my mindset is the loss of a significant person in my life back in 2018. My mother had a strong desire to travel and experience the world and she did just that but she was taken from us too soon. Now every time I go to a beach while travelling, I sense her presence accompanying me through my adventures.

I must confess that I haven’t travelled extensively around the world yet; however my goal is to keep expanding the number of countries and embarking on as many new adventures as possible every single day. I’ve had the privilege of witnessing some truly stunning, enjoyable and inspiring destinations. I absolutely adore discovering new locations, making new friends and immersing myself in diverse cultures. It may sound like a typical statement but trust me, it never loses its charm. The exhilaration I feel as I embark on a new adventure, whether it be by plane, train or boat is simply indescribable.

Let me share a bit about who I am. I believe it’s important to provide some context about my career and hobbies as they greatly influence my travels and the choices I make when it comes to activities and experiences.
I’ve been working in the healthcare field for the past 9 years as a physiotherapist. It’s truly fulfilling to help people in their own recovery and rehabilitation. I guess this is one of reasons why I want to share my travel experiences to help people achieve their own goals and ambitions to travel. Travelling is definitely attainable for everyone. While I am deeply passionate about my job, I am also constantly seeking new challenges and travelling has allowed me to explore different aspects of life beyond healthcare. During my journeys, you’ll always find me hiking, biking or simply walking around. Prioritising fitness and a healthy lifestyle is crucial to me because as they say ‘health is wealth’.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this blog. If you’ve made it all the way to the end, I truly appreciate it. I’m excited to share my adventures with you and show you the beauty of the world through my kiwi footsteps.
