I wasn’t quite sure what to expect when arriving in Denmark. This was actually the first trip I didn’t plan in advance, which is definitely out of character for me. But hey, sometimes the best adventures are the spontaneous ones! Having visited a few other Scandinavian countries before, I assumed Denmark would be similar—clean, safe, and with pricey food and dining options. That’s something you definitely need to be prepared for. However, I was pleasantly surprised that the hostel I stayed in was more affordable than I anticipated. So, let me share some of the highlights from my time in this charming and beautiful country and see if they inspire you to add Denmark to your bucket list!
