This iconic Australian chant is often heard at sports events, cheered on by passionate Aussie supporters. Australia truly is an incredible country, blessed with stunning beaches, sizzling weather and a diverse range of wildlife. It’s no wonder that it quickly became the first destination on my travel list, with just a short 3 hour flight from New Zealand.

 

The coastal regions in this remarkable country hold an irresistible charm, courtesy of the renowned Great Barrier Reef and the spectacular white sandy beaches that grace its shores.  The cities are also an absolute must-visit as they offer a lively arts and culture scene, captivating landmarks and delectable cuisine.

 

I regret not taking advantage of the chances to visit this amazing country more often while living in New Zealand. However, I remain hopeful that I will have the opportunity to revisit this charismatic destination and continue to explore the land down under.
